Heat pumps work by transferring heat between the inside and outside of your home. During the winter, they extract heat from the outside air and bring it indoors. In the summer, the process is reversed to cool the indoor space. They are highly energy-efficient because they move heat rather than generating it.
It’s recommended to service your heat pump at least once a year, ideally before the heating or cooling season starts. Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance, improves energy efficiency, and can extend the lifespan of your heat pump.
Yes, heat pumps are one of the most energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions available. They use less electricity than traditional systems by transferring heat instead of generating it. This can lead to significant savings on your energy bills while reducing your carbon footprint.
Heat pumps typically last between 10 to 15 years, depending on the model and how well it is maintained. Regular servicing, proper installation, and usage can help extend the lifespan of your heat pump and ensure it operates efficiently over the long term.
The size of the heat pump you need depends on several factors including the size of the space, insulation, climate, and the efficiency of your home. A professional assessment can help determine the appropriate size and ensure your system operates efficiently, providing optimal comfort and energy savings.
